Campbell River, October 22th 2009 – The Francophone Association of Campbell River is pleased to announce that Canadian Heritage has approved the project "TV O Coeur” for the Francophones and French immersion program students ages 9 to 14.
The “TV 0 Coeur” project offers a 10 hours course of video programming to four Vancouver Island Communities (Campbell River, Powell River, Comox and Nanaimo). After the training, the products of their creativity will be uploaded on the website www.tvocoeur.ca.
The program, that is part of a community development approach, will allow them to learn technical knowledge which will be a valuable tool to create and share information all across British Columbia.
The Francophone Association of Campbell River would like to thank for their collaboration: Heritage Canada, the Francophone Association of Comox Valley, the Francophone Association of Nanaimo, The Bon Accueil Club of Powell River and the Francophone Education Authority of British Colombia.
The Francophone Association of Campbell River helps promote linguistic and cultural diversity in the community of Campbell River.
